ICE IN TROPICAL CLIMATE

Tropical region are the areas of the earth surface near the equator and between tropic of cancer in the northern hemisphere and the tropic of Capricorn in the southern hemisphere(23.5N and 23.5S the equtor). this climate characterize by average temperature of 18 centigrade  and annual precipitation is little which tend to fall behind mountain ranges(horse latitude) that cause rain shadow. examples of areas with tropical climate is some part of Tanzania ,Africa and south America.

according to different geographers and scientist they argue that it is impossible to find a ice cover in a tropical climate region due to it is characteristics . but in Tanzania at the top of mount Kilimanjaro there is ice cover  that makes people from different parts of the world to visit mount Kilimanjaro to see how and what make that possible

mount Kilimanjaro is the highest volcanic mount in Africa rise above the sea level about 5895 meters.This mount composite volcano that is comprise of layers of lava , tephra , and volcanic ash it is currently inactive  with no known history of eruption. Mount Kilimanjaro is among of the world tourist attraction due to it distinct feature example seven distinctive peak accounting for the highest elevation and true summit of the mountain.

what make mount Kilimanjaro to be a famous mount in the world is ice cover at the top while this mount is locate in tropical climate due to this makes different visitors to wonder and to ask themselves what  make this possible a ice in tropical climate. according to researcher and geographer provide a answer to this question why mount Kilimanjaro cover with ice while is located in tropical area. The biggest answer is when altitude increases ,temperature decreases. in every 100 meters above the sea level 0.6 centigrade decreases this make mount Kilimanjaro cover by ice through they year.

mount Kilimanjaro formed due to plate tectonic movement while he plate on the earth surface move apart led to the formation of different volcanic feature namely are intrusive and extrusive feature.example valley ,mount,and hot spring.
